Wanted to install Mac OSX temporarily to help a friend get some data. There's other ways I could have done it but it's easier to use a Mac. Was trying to help my cousin out getting House of the Dead working for Windows Vista. The install had many issues with the PC version. After doing some research decided to try to find the mame rom which was rather easy with a google search.

I generally use AdvanceMame but after much hassle & no luck getting it to actually run I decided to look at other options. No luck with MAME either. Finally I found a youtube video with a very snotty voice over. The answer to the question "which emulator" is on the third page of comments.

I haven't heard of anyone taken in the rapture but then again maybe I don't know the right people. I am happy that the end of the world is scheduled for Oct 21 http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/05/22/MNP41JJA8B.DTL. There's lots of living to do before then. I'm off!

After upgrading ports on my FreeBSD dev server I ran into the error where Apache would not start exiting with the following error:

I've spent the past 2 days working on a new recording/editing computer for the KRUU studio. We've been using Ubuntu Studio x64 & I wanted to upgrade the hardware & provide a dual monitor solution & maintain quaility recording using an M-Audio Delta 44 PCI card. After modificaitons were complete to the case to allow for proper mounting of the components I was pleased to see that the dual monitor worked well.
